Many shops running legacy Koepfer gear hobbing machines are sitting on a solid mechanical foundation. The Repowered program updates that foundation with a modern FANUC CNC package, new servo motors, new spindle motors, and updated operator manuals and electrical documentation, restoring full capability and improving reliability without the cost or lead time of buying new.
Every repowered machine supports spur and helical gear cutting, one- or two-cut cycles, crown hobbing, plunge hobbing for worm gears, accelerated approach feed and speed, and automatic hob shifting. Trade-in options are available toward a used machine purchase.
Re-control and rebuild services for existing machines.
If your machine needs service and budget is a constraint, we offer re-control and rebuild services ranging from targeted repairs to complete re-manufacturing. We provide FANUC re-control solutions for Koepfer CNC Models 160 and 200 as well as many other makes and models. A systems engineer will evaluate your machine and determine the right level of service.
