Bring tool sharpening in-house with the KFS 100 and KFS 250.
When your tool volume justifies it, owning a sharpening machine puts tool quality, turnaround, and cost under your roof instead of out for service. The KFS 100 and KFS 250 resharpen high speed steel and carbide hobs, milling cutters, and shaper cutters, bore- or shank-type, straight- or helical-gash, to AGMA AAA quality on a 4-axis FANUC CNC.

Your technical resource for in-house sharpening.
Bringing sharpening in-house is a process decision as much as a machine purchase. We help you weigh it against your tooling volume and tool types, then handle installation and operator training once a machine is on your floor. Our applications and service team stays available for support after the KFS is in production.

Two machines, sized to your tool crib.
The KFS 100 is the compact model, sharpening tools up to 4 in diameter by 6 in length, with a coolant filtration system built into the machine bed for a 40% smaller footprint. The KFS 250 takes tools up to 10 in diameter by 12 in length and runs vitrified, CBN, or diamond wheels with a centrifuge filtration system for 2 to 5 micron coolant clarity. Both run a 4-axis FANUC CNC with conversational programming and stored cutter data for repeatable setups, with optional configurations for shaper cutter and spiral-gash hob sharpening.
