Name Helios Launches Flagship UK Gear School September 2025

Helios Gear Products, in partnership with the British Gear Association, is bringing its flagship gear school to Sheffield, UK, on 17–18 September 2025. "Fundamentals of Parallel Axis Gear Manufacturing" is taught in person by Helios Gear School instructors Adam Gimpert and David Harroun.

,Across two focused days, you'll cover the essentials of parallel-axis gear production from cutting to finishing to final inspection. The agenda hits the real work: gear basics and nomenclature, hobbing and hob shifting, multi-thread hobs, shaping, cutting tools and coatings, inspection, gear blanks and fixturing, heat treat and hard finishing, accuracy standards, troubleshooting, and a closing Q&A. Day two includes a shop tour at Ondrives. The course is built for entry-level gear personnel and rising talent in manufacturing management, engineering, supervision, set-up, operations, and quality. Class size is limited to keep it hands-on and practical.
